I don't see where Battlefield 1 will be successful. Shooters tend to be popular since they are fast paced games.

World War 1 in reality was a slow paced, boring war of attrition, mainly because advances in firepower did not coincide with advances in mobility.

I've been reading about this new card all day today. This new Pascal architecture is amazing! I definitely want to upgrade my GTX 970 already!! The GTX 1080 is faster than the Titan X or TWO GTX 980s in SLI!

This is why I didn't go all out and buy the GTX 980 or a Titan... They also announced the GTX 1070 ($379) that's also faster than the Titan!

My jaw hit the floor a couple times watching that keynote... how about when they said 4K? No... How about 62K rendering? Jeezus...

And these new Pascal cards are using Micron's new GDDR5X (8GB) rather than the rumored HBM2 that I posted about several weeks back.
