So I got called into work yesterday. Wasn't very happy about it either.. I got the call after getting up early yesterday morning thinking that I was going to be off. Ended up having to go to work right when I would have been taking my mid day nap! :/ So I'm really tired now! Feel like I'm left with a candle that's been burned at both ends if you know what I mean....

Nvidia surprised everyone I think! These new GPUs really took a giant leap forward... Amazing stuff!
They did! I wasn't expecting these "Pascal" cards to come out until at least the summer...

I'm not sure if it's worth it since I would pay 20% tax once it's here at least I think. I know it's for new products but not sure for used stuff.

Yeah you'd probably be better off buying the 1070 as well. Seeing as I'd have to ask for about $250 (USD) for the 970. By the time you paid the tax and shipping and all, you'd be in 1070 territory. ($379 USD brand new)

Yeah that would be too much, currently used gtx 970 costs about 270? over here, which is too much since new ine frim Germany is about 300?. When 1070 rolls out prices of new gtx 970 will certainly go down. I would pay up to 250?, not more.

I'm going to wait for the cheaper stuff
but I do agree nvidia still has that wow factor. I hope AMD does something to rival this card
