WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I'm looking forward to next week, as it will be the first week in weeks where I will not also have an assignment due. I hope I'll get to do something fun to enjoy the time even more. The following week would be the beginning to the end (of class and all of the final work), but it's nice to have a breather.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Still researching. Leaning towards just adding a Mate 10 Pro only and a cheap mp3 player instead. Not sure yet.

The biggest concern here is the battery life. I've never had good experiences with that aspect of the LG phones I've owned. The G7's cell's slightly bigger than the Pixel 2 and the V35 is in the same ballpark as the Mix 2.

Still doing more research.

That's such an a hard decision because battery life is so important. Question for you though, if you was to get a mp3 player, would it be able to handle your commute?

So the date thing I mentioned a few days back has been shelved. Cool guy, but a massive deal breaker has been discovered so not going to work.

I used to own a stand alone MP3 player called the Sansa Fuse. Wonderful piece of kit - if you got one of the good ones that had no build quality issues. So I do know if I land the right MP3 player, I could go that route.

Still deciding though as I really enjoyed my V20 audio experience and would want that back again. The HTC 10 has good sound, just nowhere near as loud for my commute and the V20 was.

"Someone done ****ed up now and missed out..."

Oh well, "Next!"

Haha, yeah. There was a possible value conflict that I considered possibly dealing with but this deal breaker just closed the door on it altogether.
I am on to the next.
In this process, I am learning that it isn't impossible to find a reasonable combination of most of what I seek. It might be less likely but it's there, as you said...

Wow! I also had a Sansa Fuse. I loved it. Everyone else I knew had iPods, but I never considered getting one.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I had 2 of them. Really nice mp3 players.
I was trying to find one again and the prices are ridiculous for the used models. I had an 8GB version, black with the crystal hard case to boot. I saw the sequel - Jam - and wasn't too impressed.

Sound quality was very solid in those little things...

Yup, they always sounded great. I still use the earbuds that came in the box with my Sansa :-)

Only reason why I sold mine was I wanted to consolidate and the phones I had at the time offered good enough sound quality. Kinda wish I kept it.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

All of a sudden I find myself surrounded by way too many iPad devices.
Ugh, probably need to put in some overtime to get rid of them.
And three Huawei tablets as well.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Last Friday I had no voice service at home with AT&T, only text and data. I submitted a trouble ticket via online chat. I was told that the problem would be resolved in less than a day. I still no no voice service at home yesterday, however.

Today I switched to Verizon. I have 5 bars of signal, voice calls work, and my data speeds are 80/25, rather than 30/5.

Did you have to get a new device?

I'm curious too, did you get a new device? I remember you being with AT&T for a long time too.

Excellent! I have the same question as the both of them though.
