Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I've been to Paris twice. Would like to go again in the near future. It's a beautiful city. Won't be that crowded in February compared to other times of the year. Hope you get the chance to enjoy it a little.
I mentioned Toastmasters as another route if you need it. I thought about joining them myself as the company I'd worked for had a group and a discount for the membership. I don't have issues talking in front of a crowd mine would've been for refinement in my speaking.
Public speaking isn't easy and there's lots of people who rather be dead than speak in front of a crowd (lots of surveys indicate that more people have a fear of speaking in front of a crowd than dying).
In other words they'd rather be in the coffin than doing the eulogy.
(That's s stolen joke btw)
But good on you for getting out there. I could never do theater so that's just amazing.
Hope your assessment went well.
Sounds like you're putting yourself out there! That's what's important.Yeah, I'm kinda nervous about Paris, I won't lie. As for coding, I am very much a greenhorn at it, will be completely honest with you. But, it's quite interesting and have got some projects on the go. As for the confidence in public, one of the classes I'm doing with Specialist Autism Services is drama and theatre, and they're often doing performances in front of huge audiences (often doing them in theatres in the city, but I believe they sometimes travel to do them all over England too, welp), and as for my ability to communicate properly, that's what the other class at SAS is for. So yeah, while the mention of Toastmasters is definitely interesting, I'd say I've already got those bases covered!
That being said, keeping my options open is never a bad thing. I've got an assessment today for support with my mental health, so that should help too. All in all, we're going all forward. And now that I'm starting to get back into Microsoft tech, I'll be here more I reckon.
