One of the inherent issues here in the used market is that phones have really dropped in price. With the S9 selling "OK" this year, a savvy shopper can find a good condition carrier variant for $350. In that case, bits a hell of a buy. It makes it harder to pick up an exotic in that price range.

I believe it. The stutters you are having when it's inconvenient sound just as annoying as the call to be honest. The frustration sounds real.

So after a lot of persuasion, my brother decided to accept the SE I got for him. His 5s is shot. The battery is done and he has had it for some years now, and also reception isn't great. I'm so glad that he will have a new and better phone that can go the distance and also have Applecare if he wants.

He's been looking into the SE for a while but the super cheap ones are carrier locked to carriers that he isn't on. I'm the weird one in my family to just switch phones just because I want to try something new or it isn't meeting my wants and needs anymore. For everyone else, they use it until it dies or really starts to act up.

As time goes by I'm more convinced then ever that you seriously need a change of scenery.

I can only imagine the type of stress you go through. Hope you have a good person to talk to so you can unload some of it.

Usually this is what supervisors at for but your supervisors don't seem equipped.

As for the other stuff, my immediate colleagues and I support each other as best as we can. Still, self preservation is setting in.

There are some massive changes I need to make for 2019. We'll see how it goes.

At least you have a support system with your colleagues. I just got thrown under the biggest bus in Miami for, get this, telling the truth. I'm too damned old to change my ways for some Joe College who can't handle big boy topics. Are they teaching kids in college some fairytale that anything is truly possible?

I ain't about blowing smoke up someone's @ss. You're gonna hear what's what whether you want to or not. Today that got me labeled as "confrontational" and my daddy's spinning in his grave.

I don't need a change of scenery, I need to become an accountant and work locked up in an office and away from human contact.

9.0 on the 8 isn't bad. It makes the 8 less dull than 8.1 did. I'm also using beta Niagara launcher for a different look.

Costa Rica next week. I’m just glad that I got out of the Minneapolis trip this week. It’s really bad through Wednesday out there.
On the flip side going to be doing a little bit of sightseeing in Costa Rica so I will post a few pictures.

I have decided to do an interesting saving goal for this year but I need to reign in some of my spending. I'm pretty sure that it can be done.

I plan to do some test shots with the 8 now that it's on 9.0.

Again, the 8 hardware wise was solid and positioned appropriately. It was still too expensive for what it offered but I can see why people liked it. I may keep it around for a while. Not sure what I'm doing with the G7+ yet.
