WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

If Joe Cocker was still with us he'd have to re-write his song to "You can leave your watch on".
If Siri instead of the bed partner was the one making supportive bed noises, then those watch owners REALLY would have issues.

Well, for those who want to track heart hlrate and calories burned while being frisky, an easdropping assistant may be worth the risk, right?

So fortunate, I'm a on a stretch of tech purchases that have just "worked". The Sabbat wireless headphones and the S3 classic have continued the trend.

I ordered a replacement battery for the S3 classic and am going to make two more attempts to salvage the gear sport before trying to get a galaxy watch.

So, this is our second attempt at vegan macarons and only or second time making macarons.

Because we didn't have a piping bag they turned out a bit rough.

Back to the meat grinder tomorrow. I'm as excited at the thought as I am of watching paint dry.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Good luck with that. I certainly don't envy you.
Thanks. I don't envy me either.

I think the one thing I was reminded at the training on Saturday was how privileged of a speciality I have as a career. You get get caught up in the crap of work and the current position does diminish your expertise. But when you get pulled out of that malaise, you're reminded that you do know a thing or two and that you can carry some of the expectations just fine.

That's an excellent way to look at the situation.

It was a very long day yesterday. Almost 20 hours. Woke up at 3:20AM, drove 3 hours to the trailhead. Hiked for 11.5 hours and back home around 11:20PM.

Some pictures from the hike to the top of Mt. San Jacinto.

Below down is Palm Springs. There is a hike called Cactus to the Clouds, basically from the desert to the top, 21 miles and 10,000 ft elevation gain. I'm not that fit yet.

Wow! That's quite the workout. Did you take any pictures whilst you were hiking?

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

A few more pictures. Air temperature was fine at higher elevations but the direct sun was hot.

Pacific Crest trail is part of this hike. Saw an interesting caterpillar on the trail.
