I see Samsung has gone with the time tested "we killed the 3.5mm headphone jack for space to put in a bigger battery" bull**** reason for the Note 10 (and next year's S11).

I was never a fan of Samsung devices, and this is just one more reason for me to remain that way.

The only Ssg gadget I own was the Tab2... but its with my 90yr old father inlaw.. his go to device for his Sudoku addiction!!

So I have been advised to take a seemingly big leap with the friend. I hate not knowing what to expect (and it's driving me nuts) but I have been told that's anxiety talking.

It's weird that the podcast I'm listening to kinda touched on this.

Still wading through the final things. I decided to take some hours off today and tomorrow so that I would have more working time since I can't do much schoolwork at work. Still in this "open" office situation with little space, we were told that everything will be done in slightly less than 3 weeks.

I think that the smaller note would have been a nice upgrade for the GF. But she's a headphone jack girl and is beating to death the RHA wired headphones I gave her.

So if her note 5 battery woes keep annoying me, it'll likely be a S10+.

I was never a fan of Samsung devices, and this is just one more reason for me to remain that way.

I like Samsung stuff. They've come a long way, and some of the Apple stuff they've put their own spin on has been good. In the closet, I liked the Note 5, Note 7/FE and the emerald (Xmas) green S6 is still one of my all favorite paints.

There's just enough software things that they do that keeps me away.
