WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

All in all, I'm good now that the daily driver situation has been resolved. There's a part of me that said I should have been more adamant and gotten a G8+XZ3, but I'm fine with the choices I made. I still may get a XZ3, but that's after I secure the Blackberry.

I like it. Not sure I would use it on the watch I have but it is nice. Not sure what band I would get next.
You can also go this route as well. This is the band I'm using for the work watch. It's in the same style as what moto had used with the 360 smartwatch line. IMG_20190908_084456.jpeg

Fortunately, I'm on a stretch where the tech I've purchased have just worked. Haven't really forced anything. Now I can change gears and focus on some of the other things.

Rue, if you're looking for something new to listen to (this applies to anyone else) and want to walk on my side of the ledger, may I suggest:

1) Chronixx - Chronology
2) Damian Marley - Stony Hill
3) Nas & Damian Marley - Distant Relatives
4) Nas - Life is Good
5) Protoje - A Matter of Time
6) Stephen Marley - Revelation Pt I

Or something random to ease you into the ones above:

1) Sting & Shaggy - 44/876
2) Stephen Marley - Mind Control
3) Protoje - Ancient Future
4) Shaggy - Out of Many, One Music

Shaggy is always milder listening. Everything else has teeth. Even a "focused" Nas is a treat. Just a different type of juice for the discerning ear.

Gotta use that Brexit money you got stashed up...
Huh? The only money we had was from a very small profit from the sale of our house. Need to remember we moved just after two years ownership. We had just finished renovating that house.

You do realise I was basically flat broke because of the move to the Paris area for this job?

We've just got back to the point of where we were before we moved here. Still lots more savings to go so we can renovate the house.

Deep breaths, sir. Looks like I was pulling your leg a tad harder than you'd like.

All moves are costly in their own way. I downsized two years ago literraly right after I graduated, and with no job lined up. It was a kick in the nuts, really; in some ways I'm still recovering from that now. Yours was a bigger sized move than mine, and yet we both are doing with we can to get to "even" in our individual circumstances. Not easy at all.

The truth is that is rough on everyone across levels as income for most is constantly being outpaced by expenses. It's also why when politrickians go up their spewing that high volume bullspit I want to knock a few off them upside the head.

I'm glad to hear that this part is settled.
It is. I would have kept going with the V35 had it not bricked. Otherwise, all I'm looking at getting is a Key 2. It'll likely be the LE model as the regular one is harder to find and is getting overpriced. The Blackberry security will be enough for me, even if the OS version updates lag behind.

There are some other things the money needs to go into, as quite frankly, phones have gotten boring and overpriced. Need to get this name incorporated and registered and pick up some trainings and clear out a few saddling expenses.

Opening Sunday in the NFL absolutely sucked if your team was based in Florida.

My two main teams went 0-2. And the Mets blew another lead. Yup, flush it in the toilet and turn the next page.

You ain’t kidding, my Olphins got spanked! Yes, I spelled it correctly, no “D”.

Yeah, my secondary team beat the stuffing out of your team. At least your free agent signed injury prone QB didn't get injured in less than a quarter and may be out for half the season.

Even Laura's Browns got a beat down. Overall, I went 1W (BAL) - 2L (JAX, NYG) - 1T (DET) opening week. At least there's next week.

I feel bad for y'all. I'm not a football fan but considering where I am, the Ravens winning is a good thing. It means that there will be some peace tomorrow.
At the same time though, the Redskins losing also is a interesting mix to have. It's hard being in an area with 2 teams with noticeable fanbases.

So a friend bought up a possibility of a living situation I can consider and it's been rattling in my mind. It has pros and cons with the reasoning that was given. I still would like to buy a home but at this time, I don't know about it unless I change jobs because that would provide a necessary boost. After graduation, I will for sure but I don't know when that will be or where it will be, as I can't control those things.

When I compare the places my sister was and where I am when it comes to that (just as a general frame of reference), me and her are in different places. She was not transitioning workplaces or roles, she was building in a place. That's not my experience, as there's nothing that can be built here unless someone retires (and hoping for that is so not realistic).

My issue is that in 7.0 (V20) and 8.0 (G7+, V35) , the DAC for my purposes was able to achieve full granular controls. I could set it in the high 30s (37-39) and it would be loud enough over my commute. Now on both the G7+ & V40 on 9.0, it is now in the mid 40s (45-48).

This makes a huge difference because the best part about the DAC for me is using a lower setting while enjoying my music cleanly helps to protect my hearing. I don't like to crank music at high volumes as my hearing is slightly above average (so is my vision).
Thanks for clarifying what is inadequate about the DAC with LG phones running Pie.

I noticed no difference in the DAC on the V20 when it upgraded from Nougat to Oreo.

I'm interested in the V50, but it's still way too pricey at this time.

So yesterday I went to another chateau. I will post pictures later.

This one had a club meeting of fancy cars on. I'm not much of a car person but I know a few here are so I took some pictures.

These are cars I will never own.

Wow! Those sure are fancy cars. I'll never afford one either, but I definitely like to look at them.
