10 years ago, I was dealing with a lot more uncertainty offline. While there are a few things are still uncertain, there have been some accomplishments and clarity in a few areas.

I've put myself through grad school, 100% funded by me and navigated that grinding experience. I've gotten through two moves between two states. I've overcome a few personal challenges offline. I've reconnected with some people unexpectedly. I've grown in quite a few ways.

While I don't know what the next decade holds, I've got a lot to be thankful for and a lot to build on. Guess that's all I can ask for.

Hope everyone had a good decade and that the next one, starting with this year, is one that moves things forward in a positive way.

10 years ago, I was dealing with a lot more uncertainty offline. While there are a few things are still uncertain, there have been some accomplishments and clarity in a few areas.

While I don't know what the next decade holds, I've got a lot to be thankful for and a lot to build on. Guess that's all I can ask for.

Hope everyone had a good decade and that the next one, starting with this year, is one that moves things forward in a positive way.

I'm thinking of doing a timeline of the last decade. Just to give some perspective.

I have a lot to be grateful for and I'm looking forward to the next decade with a sense of optimism in general.

I do know that the world had many issues and I'm hoping as humans we can work together to sort it out.

That's my hope.

We stayed home last night instead of venturing out. Didn't want the hassle. Transit strikes didn't help.

We were able to see some of the fireworks from where I'm staying and we had the live stream going.

If anyone plans to be in Paris at NYE in the future please note they're not at the Eiffel Tower but at the Arc de Triomph.

You can still see the fireworks at the Eiffel Tower but you won't see the light show they put on which is pretty cool. Everyone is on the Champs Elysees which is a nice street to be on.

Plan is to make there for next NYE since we'll probably be in Paris for a while.

I did try to take pictures but it was too far away and at night. So the pictures are all blurry.

I have a Facebook live link from the TV station if anyone is interested in seeing what it's like.

So I found a decent picture to share. Being at night and zoomed in made it difficult but this is close to what we saw.

The beam of light in the picture is the Eiffel Tower. It has a rotating beam of light at the top. I think I mentioned that a building is blocking it from our view.

Strangely enough, it hit the mark quite well. I think I would’ve chosen the Nexus line over the Moto G series as the better budget line and its subsequent effect on the market. It literally spawned the whole “budget flagship” craze and OnePlus’s place in the world.
