USA taxes are so confusing to anyone outside it and I know for a lot of those in it too.

I know it's done purposely as well.

I've always wondered if a flat tax system would work.

Not for the rich but possibly everyone else....

Must admit I haven't watched much Liverpool this year but I can see why they should win the EPL. Nice clean finish there. Visitors have played well, but are down 2-1. If Liverpool scores again, game is effectively over.

By modern standards, this referee is allowing a very physical game. I'm used to this sort of chippiness in the old days...

Entertaining enough first half. Visitors are hanging around as Ray's club is a bit off today. Nobody is really sound in the back so there have been some good chances.

Doing some quiet cleanup work today with the tech. Huawei does some very interesting stuff indeed. I'm not going to do a full wipe u til I get one of the nano memory cards. But I plan to and wipe the thing and start over.

So I haven't mentioned it (I think). My wife and I started French classes. They're Saturday mornings. We've done two so far. We're doing the basics again. This class is specific for English speakers as we can ask questions about stuff in English. We thought about evening classes but after a full working day it's hard. Yes I know some people here have done are doing evening classes.

I know some people might say this isn't the best way to lean but we're doing a lot better than the other class we were in. It helps a lot to be able to ask questions. That and speaking, listening etc.

So hopefully we'll get there.

This is an official class with a test at the end. It goes on levels here.

It's part of becoming a citizen as well. You need a certain proficiently in speaking and also writing. So grammar is important.

So that's why this class is good for us. We're learning both.

We're doing the first half of level A1. We could've did all of A1 but we wanted to have summer to ourselves and do some travel.

We're paying for this class so missing days would be losing money.
