My new device just arrived.
It's the i5 with 8GB RAM and 128 GB of storage.

So I no longer have my SE. It went back to its maker. I am glad that I gave it a chance at least.

I learned in chat with support yesterday that my return window is still valid so I inquired about how I can do this return.

The rest of y'all probably have printers so what I had to do wouldn't be of interest but it wasn't hard. I have always printed at work so working from home killed that option.

I guess what I posted hasn't been updated.

So if I get one, I'll post a copy of the stimulus letter with Mr. Clue's uncle and Rue's distant cousin's name on it. The gf got her copy this week.

Like the look of the Galaxy Watch Active 2 - especially the stainless steel model. It's just too expensive right now and I don't think I'll get much use of it as the galaxy watch I have runs great. From a looks standpoint, the black stainless steel looks great with the flush black V50 due to a similar style minimalism. Saw one for about $185 renewed recently and I passed on it.

Maybe I'll circle back at some point. There is no rush.

Accessories arrived. Once I pick them up and set them up, I'll post pictures. I'm looking to pair the Galaxy watch to the V50 on Android 9 and then update to 10. Hope that works. If the watch doesn't pair that's really gonna suck.

Awesome. I returned my entry level model for this one too. I never thought a better CPU would make such a difference on a Chromebook but I was wrong. I passed on the Google keyboard and picked up the Brydge kb at Best Buy and I'm very pleased.

Ooh that sounds like a nice combination! I hope it works the way you want it to.

Got mine today. I couldn't open it so let the wife "accidentally" find it. I can't say what she did when she saw what it was. At least, not without getting a PM from Laura or 99 informing me of an unexpected vacation.

That will depend on Samsung not being a with how the watch pairs on Android 10. It's why I was so excited to find both the Pixel 3XL and V50 had 9 on them. I've updated the Pixel already but was waiting first.

Need a bigger memory card (400GB), but that might wait. If everything sets up nicely, I will be working that camera - lock down or not.

I bought the Brydge keyboard as well. It should arrive next week. I got it from Brydge directly.

So for the musically adventurous of you who want something different, and maybe a little old school...may I suggest some Ska?

I honestly think that reggae is one of the more polarizing and harder genres to get into. Had the old chess master stated how he didn't like it from an instrumental perspective. I gently reminded him that it's more lyrically driven due to the roots of storytelling. The instrumental is often used to enhance but not supercede the content being delivered by the vocals. Having said that, finding the right instrumental mix to do so is very hard to do. Some of the good ones when you strip the vocals out you can really appreciate it. If you can sing along and stay on beat (no matter the singing talent) based on merely recognizing the instrumental, then the record has done its job. Reggae dubs are really really awesome listens when done right...best served on 12" mixes running an average of 7 minutes and up.

Take the following...one of the more famous songs I know and love. The original track runs to about 6:30. The you get the dub/instrumental up to 10:40 and another version with some slight variations to finish out the rest of the clip. I understand I'm slightly biased because I grew up in this genre, but it's impressive intricate work to line up the instruments the right way in reggae...similar to rock, classical, jazz and other genres.
