WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I'm leaning towards something new on the technology side. My default options (upgraded concert experience, game experience) are not available and I don't think I want to wait 5-6 months to celebrate this. I'll have to think about what makes sense for me.
For a moment I thought I saw a new boy toy there. Betcha if we hit the girlfriends up with a gofundme of that endeavor we could open up a few purses and pocketbooks...

Had to go into the office today. I had posted these on our room's corkboard a while back... if you cannot pick out my favorite, you're not a real regular (poster or lurker) in these parts...20200519_162636.jpeg20200519_162657.jpeg20200519_162646.jpeg

Haha you're funny for that...
Nope. No one is worth COVID-19 at this time.

So fourth contact by a recruiter.

This one was interesting but they wanted someone permanent.

Good thing about it was working from home most of the time.

It's kind of like you spoke this into existence. I mean, working from home and another recruiter.

No I sacrificed an eggplant in the centre of a pentagram to atheism and wished it into being.

If only it worked better... I'll have to try carrots next...

So Libra might find this a bit raunchy but it's a very interesting read.

The NYT link may be hard to see, but it's interesting to see women making money from female "locker room" talk...

Them 2 broads get paid 70k to talk about things I hear on construction sites all day for free. In my best Yakov Smirnov voice “what a country!”

Being the USA this hardly surprises me one bit. Two young pretty girls locker talking on a podcast. Kind of reminds me of a certain TV show about 30 something women locker talking... Though probably not as graphic as these two girls.

Also not surprised the two 'broke' 20 something girls were not broke.

Lying about being broke is a typical trend in 20 something influencers. It's hard to be 'real' when you're rolling in it...

Sadly, yet again, not surprised with this being in the USA, they were trying to get more money and then a dispute happened between the hosts.

You can almost write this script...

Also, yeah, sex sells, especially if you look a certain way.

I think you didn't read both articles.

They both took home more than $500,000 last year and we're asking for 1 million each in this dispute.

So yeah, sex sells.

It's funny that you say that about lying about being broke with that age. Probably about a 1/4 of the people I watch/follow are younger than me. It swings different ways. It is a thing to pretend that they own luxury with the penthouse apartments and massive homes on one side, another just acknowledges that they are thankful to be able to afford this and realize that they are privileged, and then there's another side that do actually do own those things. The last side are those that appear to live an "average" lifestyle and actually do!

Best example of the last side is that I saw a comment on a house tour for a girl that bought it alone. The comment said something along the lines of, "It's good to see that someone buying a normal sized home in their 20s. A lot of influencers are buying million dollar homes, trying to make it seem normal."

Poor me in the corner without the "correct shade" and "female equipment" in this situation to make the $$$...
