WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

It's a long weekend again... There's been a few the last couple of months. Though doesn't mean much.

I need a week off really. Plan is to go to the farm once I've got the engineering done on this project and they let us travel that far.

I'd like one of those vacations where you just don't come back, but that's not going to happen.

I'm thinking of taking a week of in July as planned. I don't know yet. I'll likely put in for an extended weekend coming up soon.

It sounds like one is needed. I heard that the beaches are low risk, with social distancing. I hope you get one soon.

I've been watching some reviews of the new Sony phone. It's pretty impressive. Not enough for me to buy one but I do like it.

I'll wait for the next one or whatever.

Yeah, I like what I'm seeing too. What I'd want is the compact one to have similar power. If I don't like what I see for that, I may just get one next year.

So I respect the class and grace Mr. Cooper showed by having some empathy here. My counterpoint would be:

She has no problems with ruining your life in that moment, so she should have no problems in dealing with the fallout of it backfiring in her face. If she is smart, she will take it as a lesson in humility and grow from it. But she also has a very good chance of being bitter and doubling down on how ill reputed brown people are.

Shout out to the social media warriors who identified her and the stuff surrounding the dog in under 24 hours. That's why I stay off the socials and only ruffle Rue's jimmys here.

I have a Facebook account exclusively for the purpose of having my wife send me funny cat videos. I have no Twitter account, or Instagram or any other social. Just knowing a Twitter account provides the possibility of directly exchanging with Rue's step-brother is enough to produce projectile diarrhea.

I was going to mention him here but decided not to. I'm very curious about the body cam footage. Going by that cell video, there's nothing I could see that happened prior that justified the arresting officer to be so up in his feelings that his knee on George's neck for 5 minutes was his most appropriate form of response.

Today was too weird and too draining for work. Had to shut it down early, which bought me a slight reprieve.

Have to go into the office tomorrow so it might have been for the best. I just tired.

That's good that you had a slight reprieve.
I can easily imagine how tired you are. Generally and in combination with this.

Yeah I do recall them mentioning the new apps will be released for the X1 and X5 during the release presentation.

Fingers crossed.

Samsung provided new camera features for the S10 that had only been available on the S20.

So it seems the Envy 13T model I like is MIA!?

Oh well. I knew I could have gone the cheap route and gotten the 256GB + 8GB RAM model last year, but I liked the machine so much I wanted it in the configuration I wanted. We will see. Maybe if I don't find it I'll bite the bullet and get a Surface.

I think that's the plan. No idea if it will have the same features though.

I don't think my camera can photograph 20fps.

Still, it will be nice to have the interface though.

I've always found it interesting when those with a certain type of colonial based privilege react as victims when dealing with negative consequences of their usage of said privileges.

When the noose gets used, it doesn't matter who the target is. That noose has been a symbol of subjugation and intimidation of eons. You know exactly what you're doing when you use that imagery.
