Vaping did the trick for me. It's been almost 4 years since I last smoked. That's awesome! You're a better man than I am considering I haven't been able to ditch the damned things even after 2 heart attacks. I've been able to cut down to about 5-6 cigs a day by vaping but I fear it's a losing proposition. It just ain't the same.
In other news, I dropped the Windows 11 Insider Preview on my Surface Pro X today. It was quite the seamless experience that I'm NOT used to from Microsoft and everything works so far. It's going to take some time to re-learn muscle memory but I like it so far.
I don't print much from home so I'll check for my printer. I would imagine a Windows 10 printer works with the current driver. If your Canon is an older model it may be vanquished like any Surface Pro pre-2017.was your printer supported? Mine was not. I hope canon releases win11 drivers for my printer.
I had to kick myself when I installed it yesterday. I installed and it would not take my login when I first tried to log in. So I installed it again. Still would not take my login. Then I looked down and my number lock was off. Oh well. In general, it is still windows, it may look slick and will take some getting used to but so far there is nothing there to keep me from using linux as my os of choice.
I thought it broke my linux connection and I would have to do a grub repair. But it turns out I can boot to linux four clicks away from the bootloader since it was installed on an external ssd drive. Wonder if it would have broken if it was installed on one of the internal drives.
Haha yeah, I have a similar story from when I was a young’n. Me and a buddy tried smoking some cloves from the spice cabinet (facepalm)Hang on...
I don't smoke.
Some childhood experience that was bad. Took my grandpa's pipe and went to the garden. Grabbed some grass and dried mango leaves and stuffed it into the pipe, lit it up and took a deep puff... Damn smoke nearly killed me. Haha...

Speaking of affordability, I took the fam to Niagara Falls back in 2014 and I nearly had my 3rd heart attack at the 7-11 when I went to buy some smokes. All I can say is we're spoiled rotten in Flori-Duh paying $5 or $6 a pack (a little less in the Seminole reservation near the Hard Rock Casino). My Winstons were $14 a pack in Buffalo, NY. That's NOT a typo! Fourteen MF-ing dollars a pack!Well, I’ll be 52 this year, and I really think that I’ve done way too much damage to try and reverse anything now, but I just really cannot afford them anymore. I mean, I never could afford them, but now, having that extra 150-200 something bucks a month really helps.

I quit in 1968. I smoked Lark's at the time. I paid 19 cents a pack and $1.89 a carton. I lived in Durham, NC where they were made so cheaper than most places. Glad I quit.
Wow 1968. I was a wee lad still in Cuba. My dad quit the day we arrived in '69 because he couldn't stand the taste of American cigarettes. My mom brought me back a pack of Cubans when Fidel first allowed us anti-revolutionaries to visit family in '79 and let me tell ya, I would've quit Gringo smokes too.
Hey guys, happy day after, the day after the 4th of July!
Do me a favor, when any of you guys get a chance. Please check out these latest tracks I’ve posted on my channel. I posted them on the AudioBus forums, but I think everyone over there is either too busy making beeps and bloops with their synthesizers to notice, or maybe I just need to find a new hobby.
Looking for feedback, thumbs ups, and those magical subscriptions!
I’m trying to grow my channel! As of today, I have 136 subscribers. I’d like to eventually have over 1000 subs so I can start doing live streams,
National Anthem I posted on the 4th
https://youtu.be/tn19WBCquSQ
A new 100% original piece with 2 guitar tracks (improv as usual!)
The visuals are from the new and amazing “VS- Visual Synthesizer“ from Imaginando. This might seem like your run of the mill audio visualization app at first, but you’ll soon discover (if you buy it and use it) that this is something totally different. This is, as it’s name implies, a “Visual Synthesizer”, where instead of just having pretty lights and visuals dancing and reacting to the audio signal, you can “Synthesize” your visuals the same way you would designing a sound on a synth, and sequence these visual elements with MIDI.

Hey Ed.. Maybe you should have grown up in Indonesia... Clove cigarettes (kretek) are everywhere!! HahaHaha yeah, I have a similar story from when I was a young’n. Me and a buddy tried smoking some cloves from the spice cabinet (facepalm)
