WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Cortana is useful for me here in the Philippines for the things I care about.

Cortana is useful for me here in the Philippines for the things I care about.

I think if used properly it's probably a great service. Thing is I don't think most people want location on all the time because of battery or don't want to be tracked and in some countries data signals are dodgy or data is expensive. This is partially the issue with things like Cortana.

I didn't mind playing around with it but I never found it useful because I'm not that fussed about minute details in my life. :P I don't follow sport. Maybe I need to be more busy and then I'd find it useful...

I don't turn off location services of any of my phones...

Really? With my Z3 I don't turn it off. When I used my L920 it took minutes to lock, very annoying. How do you use Cortana without location?

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I just got an update for my Z3! Looks like some bug squashing and some tweaking. :)

Seems faster... :P

Misspelled. I meant I don't turn off...

I see, my friend posted an update for his Xperia earlier and I was wondering why it's somewhat a small update.

I went through the PC Companion. I didn't even know there was an update.

They added the close all apps button back. It was missing with the original 5.02 update. Not sure what else has changed. It does feel smoother.

5.02? Wow! I'm still over here at 5.0 and just found out that my old phone that I gave away just got an update to 5.0.1
No fair Samsung/Google

Don't blame Google. It's Samsung's fault. :P

No, full on OS update. Not sure how big it was but it took time. Still 5.02 though...

I have that one for the Z3TC...they added the "close all feature" and squashed some bugs.

My z3 is still on 4.4.4 by choice though.

Approved by Z3 Tablet Compact!

I liked my tablet on 4.4.4 better than 5.1.1.

You've got a N7 (2013). That's to be expected. Some like 4.4.4 better.

I only used 4.4.4 long enough to get 5.0. I'm on 5.1.1 now. So far no issues.
