WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

And I usually don't like superhero movies that much, but I've liked X-Men since I was a kid.

Apparently this is important as they're switching systems. We use the current system quite a bit so need to become proficient with the new one.
However the training is a huge pile of steaming garbage.
I see that as bored as you are in the training, you're still sharp enough to sidestep the question.

Surprisingly, even though it's not a Verizon-branded phone, I'm even able to get HD voice on it. Typically, Verizon doesn't support features such as that on phones that lack its branding.

Wow, that's awesome! Sounds like you have the benefits without the baggage of Verizon software.

If I had the $, I would get a Mate 10 Pro Porsche edition, paired with a Huawei watch 2 classic.

I can barely keep up with the mess that the latest acquisition is, so I don't want to try and learn about your mess via an exchange program.

My mess is simple: meet, engage, enroll, hand off.

The travelling you're familiar with. It's just the extreme changes in environments, (e.g. from a court house to an ICU to a pool hall to a cluttered apartment to a doctor's office to a hallway in the projects to a local social security office, etc) sometimes in the same day, is what can be very jarring.

Problem is, I'd like it so much I wouldn't use it. So I'd still get the LG as the daily driver.

So I'm likely to get the mocha Mate 10 Pro instead first. Should be cheaper with the Mate 20 Pro launch.

"What you talking 'bout Willis?"

#noPixel2laghere .

I think the wake up has slowed down since the last security patch. That is a known issue. Overall if the phone has slowed down I don't seem to notice it as much as MKBHD does. Just like everyone else though I keep the Pixel for the camera.

I will be scarce on the forums next week. Off to Costa Rica for work.

I'll take your word for it.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

There's a new report out saying that people are addicted to their phones... No kidding...

Apparently most people check their phones on average every 12 minutes.

For some reason my wife thinks I'm addicted even though I leave my phone alone for hours. It's only where I'm bored or waiting around that I use it more frequently. My phone gets turned off at night as well.

Even when I worked I didn't check it that much as I had the internet on my computer.

I admit to using it but I don't think I'm overly addicted. Or is the first point of addiction admitting you have a problem?

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

In other news we're heading into a heatwave.

It will be 37-38C (98-100F) for the next 5 days.

There is hope of rain next week sometime. We haven't had much in the last while and it's been 30 - 32C for the last two to three weeks. Everything it's getting brown here.

At least the evenings are cool. It drops to about 17-18C at night which is good. Though anything below 25C is considered cool at the moment.

Need to find some comfortable water resistant shoes. On days when I'm unable to wear my comfortable shoes, my knees tell me.
