How is it with T-Mobile? That's become an issue lately more important than megabytes.

Didn't have any issues with it. I think it picked up data a bit slower than the Z3 from my memory transitioning in and out of dead spots, but those dead spots are catching signal in subway tunnels. Overall it was as good as I remember.

Calls were clear, mostly used it with the Bluetooth headset.

So I'll have a few items up sale:

I won't be doing the official forum posts until Wednesday when I have time to do pictures and such. Basic questions I'll answer here, anything detailed, please PM me.

As usual, I'll post on AC and maybe WC as well first (Wednesday). Then stuff goes on Swappa on Saturday/Sunday.

My SIM is back in the Pixel 2, so all items are tucked away, unused.

It's interesting how Fossil watches are getting all the new Android Wear updates fast. The Skagen has gotten the notification for Update H, and I bet once I power up the Q Explorist, it'll have it too. The Huawei watch 2 took quite a while before it got the last round of updates.

I think I'm going to pick up a high end Huawei device. I'll put the XZ2 up for sale shortly. It's a really nice device and the green reminds me of the U11 colors. Still, there's one hardware combo out there (sans the missing 3.5mm) and the skin is semi tolerable enough for me to want to pay to play.

If any one is interested in the XZ2, pm me. Otherwise, I'll use the Pixel 2 in the interim.

Don't think I'll get another phone after this.

It's the times we live in. On its own, the XZ2 is a wonderful all round device. Within the grand scheme of things, it suffers from a worse position of being an upper mid range all rounder with a super premium price point. The Z3 was like that, but back then, the alternatives were less quality and quantity wise.

Having used a Sony device for the past 4 years, I think I went away from the XZ2 because for me, much of the niggles I've had with Sony from the Z3TC/Z3 days haven't been addressed to my liking in the XZ2.

Well Google finally updated the ship dates. Should receive the Pixel 3 around Nov 27. Unfortunately I will be out of town for work so expect pictures the week after that around the 6th or so since I have to teach a class in the Bay Area on the 4th of December.

I'm glad I did too. I was curious to see as to where Sony was since the Z3. Don't get me wrong, the XZ2 is a great phone that I got in really good condition at a killer price. Ordinarily, that would have been enough.

It just wasn't the fit for where I am not that I was hoping it would be. That's all.

Unfortunately my work travel is a bit crazy so I will not be able to set it up before the 6th at the earliest.

All the best with that. It's just out of hand. Sometimes when I walk into a fancy speciality office or certain parts of the hospital (the parts where you see the $$$ is coming in) I just have to shake my head.

And you wonder why in medical school no one wants to be a PCP. It's because they do a ton for work and their starting salary is trash (compared to many of the other specialists).

Preventative care in most countries is pretty crap.

Most doctors don't receive much training in nutrition or exercise, for example.

Don't get me started on their lack of knowledge in evolution... Yes it's needed and should be fundamental.

There's a reason why there's an obesity and metal health crisis in most countries.
