I had to do that with the little phones and probably will have to do that with the Pixel 3. The bigger battery devices last all day without any battery anxiety.

I should say that the Mate 10 Pro and Pixel 2 XL had amazing battery life. Easily over 6 hours of SOT and routinely 50% left around end of work day.

If I used the tablet in the evening, 2 day battery life easily achievable with either device.

Because work has gotten super busy, my personal phone usage has changed. It's why I could get to the end of the day with a Pixel 2 - but the minute I start to use it, I feel the battery anxiety.

I don't have time for that anymore.

The WP keyboard was the best I've used, with the BB keyboard a close second. You won't see that on Android as msft owns SwiftKey and doesn't want to double dip.

I wish they would though. My SwiftKey experience so far as been OK, but I need to find something I want to pin down more securely to use.

I forgot they bought SwiftKey.

It's sad they haven't got it up to the standard of the WP keyboard yet...

I guess this is similar to the red phone booth of London. Very few left in London now. More of a tourist attraction than anything else.

So I'm still waiting for my contract. Hopefully today. Need it to secure an apartment.

We think we found something. It's only a one bedroom but it's in a nice location and a good view. 12 minute bus ride to work or six minutes if the wife drops me off. So can't complain.

The annoying part is we have to install a kitchen. The only bit that's there is the sink. Thankfully there's a few France shops set up for this. Don't need to rely solely on IKEA.

The plan is to get everything ready before we move so it's as easy possible. It will come down to finding everything we need (meaning pretty much everything) and getting it delivered before 14th January. Preferably this month would be best.

Thankfully I'm pretty handy so won't need to pay for installation or building of anything.

Yeah I'm a bit stressed which is why I'm rambling a bit and posting a bit more frequently...

Well, I hope everything is resolved sooner than later for you. It does sound stressful.

I have a lot of things on my plate at the moment. I'm chipping away at it a bit at a time. It's a lot of paperwork and other nonsense.

No contact yet but I'm hoping this week. They did indicate at my interview it would be about a week.

The hope is to get the apartment this week and the stuff for in it next. Lots of sales in in the shops so it's a good time to buy.

My Sony MDR-XB950B1 paired with the Pixel 3 XL with ease via NFC. I couldn't succeed at all with the Huawei Mate 10 Pro for some odd reason.
