Today's Bing picture is really neat. I was there 9 years ago exactly around this time! And it was cold and there was snow on the ground. Definitely miss that.

Nice. I got the kid something that will satisfy the LEGO cravings along with the desire to visit Paris!
I picked up a new iPad last night when it went on a flash sale. Want to use it primarily to watch Netflix and Prime on the flights.

Ooh very nice deals! Congrats on both! I see that the price of the iPad is dropping here and there and it is tempting considering that I wanted to try one, just for the reasons you said, and Kindle books. (It helps that it is much cheaper than any phone I would consider hopping back to trying...lol. We'll see though.)

So we're going to see the apartment on Friday. What started as a simple train trip has now turned into a four day road trip. Including traveling with .

Should be interesting. We managed to get a great discount on a studio style hotel room in a Best Western.

Main reason was simply because we felt we needed to do something different around Xmas. It just wasn't feeling right. Also the train tickets were just silly prices.

I'll take some pictures of what I'm up to as well. I hope you like them. I'm going somewhere I've been wanting to go to since I was about 16, I think. Looking forward to it.

Hoping my contract shows up this week. It's getting slightly annoying. France is different around Xmas but I know the office where I will be working well be closed between Xmas and new year's day. So if it doesn't show up on Monday it's next year.

I won't be very happy if that happens.

Today has been one of the worst work days I can remember. The lying, backstabbing and lack of accountability is grating my cheese. I'm just glad that I'm entering the 7th inning of life and pitching a shutout. I'm gonna channel my inner Bob Gibson and drop the next a-hole that tries me.
