I think I might need to cave and get a faster charger for the X. There have been two times in a row when the charging speed of the iPhone has failed me.

Tuesday, I put it on the charger during the 9 am hour. I figured that it would be done charging by 12:40 for our work outing. Nope, it was at 95%.
Yesterday, I put it on the charger sometime during the 2 pm hour. I knew that I'll be going to see him (which is a 30 minute drive), so I thought that it would be fine. Nope, it was at 93%. I drove around for a bit too in the parking lot and that moved it up to 96. Welp. Drove home (at 91%) and even missed my exit and that got me to a grand charge total of 97%.

I miss Android each time I find myself in these situations.

LOL! I really didn't want to but this happening really gets in the way. And this is something that keeps occurring, so I'm over it. If I buy this though, I feel like this means that I have to be all in on the Apple side, which is a tough pill to swallow.

Might as well. Why don't you get an iPad, that way at least you get the fast charger for free.

Lots of people dislike the screen on the G7 for a myriad of reasons. While I'll never claim that the calibration is the best, with eye comfort mode enabled, it's a screen on default mode I don't mind looking at.

I agree, you're right about that. The iPad going so low had me considering if I should try it out before I even considered this solution, which I was on and off about.

I plan to try out an iPad since I was curious. If I see it as something I can and will use, it could be worth it. If not, I'll just deal with buying the pricey solution.

I'll keep the explanation about the priests simple.

It started off as a revolt against a new fuel tax being put on diesel as part of the Paris agreement. Keep in mind this tax was set to be put on before Macron took office.

Thing is, Macron did some other things and hasn't conveyed his negate well. He also removed this wealth tax and added taxes elsewhere so people just got upset at Macron in general.

The 'yellow vest' protestors as they're called are just average people fed up. The violence had been caused by infiltration of far right and fat left groups.

The main issue now though is that these projects won't be happy with anything. They've drawn up some ridiculous demands. They're blocking main roundabouts and in some cases actual businesses. They're basically causing problems to the point that people are losing jobs and companies closing.

They are creating more problems than solving them and they seem to believe the government will cave more because they already have.

However, there's only so much they can do. France is not looking good to the rest of the world. Why would anyone want to invest here? They don't seem to get that.

That's the problem with mob rule and people who don't understand politics.
