This one won't sit well with me.
Not a fan of the outcome, because I'm not a fan of our entitlements programs are set up. At least the client wants to tell my supervisors how satisfied he was of my efforts. I'll have him talk to my secondary supervisor and my primary supervisor's boss instead of my immediate supervisor as she's just a black hole of no help.
This one won't sit well with me.

My last job I had to use 3 days of my vacation every year or not get paid. As a contractor I didn't get paid.
Here in France it's just Xmas day and New Year's Day. That's it for most people but again depends on the company you work for.
The new place I'm going to be working at is similar to the places I worked in the past.
It was a quiet uneventful Xmas this year and New Year's is looking the same. Next year may be different. Seeing the Paris fireworks would be cool.
Most of the business I've worked for in the past take 25th to January 2nd or later depending.

I keep thinking how little time I have to do things. Not long now and I'll be working again!
I had to buy all new clothes and I still need a couple of shirts and new socks. I have to get my pants hemmed as well.
Still have some things I'd like to do around the farm as well before we go.
Then there's my residency application to finish.... Sigh.

Well I just wrote to Amazon if they could tell mi if the Moto Z is still in warranty and what I got? I can return phone and get my money back. Now looking at Poco and Mi miix 2S since I can get them at carrier for 216€ and 240€ respectively. Leaning more towards Poco. Any opinion?

I had a Mi Mix 2 and the 2S just improved on the chip and the camera (99 tried a Poco so he could tell you more). Both cameras are solid, 2S is better than the Poco. For the price difference (depending on what version of the Poco the carrier has) you're getting a better design, better camera, NFC, no notch and wireless charging. Poco is the cheapest 845 chip you'll find, so if you don't mind a notch for Face ID, raw speed, headphone jack that's decent and micro SD, Poco is good. Xiaomi is slower with major versions of Android for updated but better than a lot with security updates and maintenance of the skin.
Cannot go wrong with either one to me.
Put the poco launcher on your moto Z first to see how you feel. It's in the play store.

Hm I will get over not having stock android. To be honest, looking at Poco seems like looking at Lumia 820 again, great chipset, plastic and not so good camera. I really don't know, I like great build quality. Though how bad is MIUI?

If you're going for the Poco, look through their forums. It was pushed heavily as a devs friendly so you may not have to deal with MIUI. I saw something where it has a Pixel ROM too.
If you like great build quality, the Mi Mix 2S will give you that. It just depends on what trade offs you are willing to make.
Um, I have no issues with MIUI. I've used a Mi 5, Mi Note 2, a Mi Mix 2 and now a Mi Pad 4. I prefer it over EMUI. Neither one are everyone's favorite, really.
