WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Went to the Hacienda Alsacia coffee farm owned by Starbucks. Planted a coffee seed which will hopefully grow into a plant. Ate a ripe coffee cherry and enjoyed the scenery, tour and coffee. They even have a small waterfall in their coffee farm.

All pictures so far posted were taken by the Xr. I will post some S9 pictures later.

Mmm, coffee beans.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Monday, eh? All seems the same.
My Monday was a bit different.

Appointment at a government office followed by a long drive in bad weather.

I said it would be a long day, it was.

99 nice pics! If you ever make your way to Australia be sure to check out the coffee plantations there in northern Queensland.

Those pictures made me want to visit Costa Rica. Also order my favourite coffee from Australia...

I heard something recently about how some things you might say, feel, or do as a kid can ring true or be a possibly fundamental truth in your life, and I think that's fascinating.

The more things change, the more they remain the same.
I'm excited to hear my new supervisor revive the age old conversation about productivity numbers.

As you can tell, I'm about as excited for this conversation as I would be of the prospect of wading through a fecal matter filled mile long marsh without shoes.

Yup, same old **** - just a different day.

So this is s picture of a chateau about 15 mins from my farm. I took this out the window of a moving car and it's also been zoomed in. I think it turned out ok all things considered.

We had a very frosty morning yesterday. -5C.

I took this picture out the windscreen (yeah it's dirty) on the way to the prefecture. The thing on the right is a watering system (not mine). It looks a bit like a caterpillar when you see the whole thing. That's only a small portion of it.

I think its a bummer since we hardly get snow in the valley there is this myth or whatever that it snows in the valley once every 10 years. Not sure if true but so far it has happend
If you were itching for snow that bad, you should have gone to Chicago a week ago...

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Love the in hand feel of the XZ3. Sony did a nice job hardware wise of their refinement of the XZ2 design. I felt like the addressed some of the concerns I had with the XZ2 (but chipped away at some of its portly personality). I'm indifferent about how they did the curves on the screen. It is narrow enough but not as much as a Samsung device. I can see why palm rejection when used NG the display may be a pain in the *** for smaller hands. Comparatively, the XZ2 Premium feels a bit too wide for my taste.

Also, the XZ3 doesn't feel as fast as the XZ2. I think this was a 4GB RAM mode I tried. I'd love to try. The first green this time isn't as pronounced as on the XZ2. Also, I don't use the Sony launcher, so I'd love to drop Nova or Niagara on it and disable some junk to really test the pace of the phone.

9.0 looks the same like 8.1 did, minus the theming engine. No gestures (would rather have it and turn it off). Meh all around there.

Having used the G7+, the size bump to the V40 isn't as bad as it once was. It is still a bit too bigger than I'd want. I do appreciate the fact that the G7/V40 isn't as narrow as a S9/Note 9. I think LG missed a serious chance last year with both the G7 and V40 not being as complete products as they needed to be. Rock solid is good, viable and complete alternatives are better.

Just some other things to salivate on and consider.
