WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

The OMOTON tempered glass screen protector that I am using on my Pixel 3a is probably the best one I have ever used.
Not a fingerprint magnet, doesn't smudge easily and it is super responsive for the touch screen (almost feels like you are using the phone without a screen protector on).

They include a frame in the 2-pack that makes installation a breeze.

Wow this sounds like such an upgrade for her! What a sweet gift. Will she miss the S-pen though?
She was why Samsung started doing the plus model - wants the big screen but never used the S pen when they bought the Note. So nope, she won't miss it.

So anyone intrigued by any of the new Surface hardware?

I am thinking of maybe getting a X as my SP3 replacement. And maybe a Surface Laptop 3 for the home computer.
Oh and anyone excited about the Duo or not?

I like the Duo, meh on the Neo. The Duo could give Samsung a real migraine and could make iOS users think twice. Well, maybe for just a second.

I'm not surprised they went with Android, just look at the Store and the number of PC apps that are going by the wayside. It just looks weird to see anything other than Windows on a Microsoft product. Please don't bring up the Kin.

I've never had any interest in Surface products. I prefer traditional notebooks and desktops.

I also have no interest in any folding phones.

Agreed.

I personally think the Duo is a bit awkward looking and bulky. The idea is interesting but having no ability to answer calls or texts when folded is a bit weird, kind of loses the useful part of being a phone.

Folding the screen around for one screen usage makes sense but at the same time I think it will not be something many will do. I wouldn't want to drop this thing.

The Duo and the Neo both have major bezels as well. A bit old tech looking. This is coming from someone who doesn't mind bezels but even I think these are huge.

Do I like the idea of the tech? Yes overall. Would I buy either of them? No.

My other opinion about tech is this.

Should Google even bother with an event for the Pixel 4 now? I don't think I ever seen so many leaks for a phone.

Though I have to say the whole event thing is a bit naff anyway.

So update on the car.

I have all my four tires now, so yay! The car drives a lot nicer now. Amazing what new tires can do.

My other thing that needs fixing will hopefully be sorted in the next two weeks. I managed to figure out a way to reduce the price significantly as well. If everything goes smoothly it should all be sorted before the end of the month.

Cars are such a pain.

Haha, they are failing at this so bad.

Awesome! It sounds like you have a double win here! Glad that it worked out for you mostly.

Yeah overall it's good. The money saved on the one thing compensates for the additional cost of the new rim.

I just hope there's no more surprises.

A bit hectic past few days... Planning the itinerary for our first trip to Ho Chi Minh City. Probably taking a 10 days visit is a wee bit too long. Lots of last minute research to do... Any tips is welcomed.

That could be fun. I have no tips but I wish you good luck with the planning.

Finally getting my work computer to have Windows 10 on it. Luckily, I have my laptop today because I procrastinated on completing my discussion due this morning.

So we wait. I didn't expect them to come so fast actually to get it. I'm thankful to have another device to use aside from my phone.

I don't take back my previous rant, but being able to ask what I'll like to know and letting go of foolishness is so nice. I think I'm starting to get it now.

Also, it's early but I'm glad that I ended chatting with the one who inspired the post a few days ago. It gave room for better.

I held the Note 10 today. If she was transitioning to wireless headphones, used the S Pen a lot more, and it was more affordable, this would be the one to get for her.

Strangely enough, I'd buy this and slap Nova on it to get away from One UI. It's got a very nice in hand feel. Maybe I pick up one next year.

I'll give MS one thing. They made the industry remember they existed again.

Promoting a product that won't be out for a year seems a bit odd though.
