WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

So I'm looking at these trade ins. Apparently my V40 and or G7 is worth $300 towards a Pixel or Note 10. Hmmm...

My biggest gripe with LG is the same...battery life isn't where I need it to be.
Has it improved at all since the V20? I actually ended up getting an extended battery for the V20, since battery life was bad. I would hope that LG improved battery life when they opted for sealed batteries.

Not really. Remember, I've been cheap and gotten second hand units. The g7+ I bought new and that battery was bad. Small and with a gas guzzler of a screen. For my needs, it looks like only the Chinese and Sony can give me the battery life I want. Mate 20 Pro is very nice on battery, but I want a falt screen.

Picky, yeah? This is why I wished LG had released a retaulr version of the V50 with the same 4000mah battery. That would have been a nice for for me.

No, I wouldn't say you're picky. I didn't get the V50, since I had no use for 5g. The V50 also had 2 GB less RAM than the S10+, and a slightly smaller battery than the S10+. That's why I opted for the S10+, rather than the V50.

The S10+ was a battery champ for me. First Android device with absolutely zero battery anxiety.

Got the kiddo a Xiaomi Mi Band 4 Global Version with 3 additional Colorful straps for $17 total.

I was surprised by how cheap it was.

The reason for Mi Band 4 was that the cheapo $5 Vivitar band from Target crapped out after a couple of months.

The Mate 20 Pro I don't have battery anxiety over. I just use it and put it on the charger at the end of the day. The issue I have with the LGs is that I'm not on my personal phone at ton, really. So I should have better battery life, but I don't.

Nice call. Guess with Fibit getting bought out, the Ace line or a Flex 2 was off the table...
Thanks. The goal was to stay in her budget. She had a gift card for $25 and we were going to pitch in $10 extra. But this deal worked out really well. We're trying to teach money skills to a 9 year old

And if she learns quick, it'll give her a huge advantage in life going forward.

You're right. You should have better battery life on the LG phones, since you don't use them as much as I used mine.

I don't have to worry about the battery on the S10+, and I have the screen resolution at WQHD+, and have at least 4 hours SOT, frequently 6 hours SOT. It doesn't get below 50% battery charge with that usage.

Awesome! I'm sure she will love her new watch.

Aww so cute!
BTW, I'm impressed with the camera on the S10+. That was in automatic on a cloudy day. The dog was running. I snapped it when the display indicated "best shot". The photo was cropped but not edited in any other way.

I still need to play with the camera more, especially with the various modes and manual mode.
