WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Oh no doubt there are a lot of adults who would completely miss the messages in The Cather in the Rye. Funny how that book would be even more relevant today.

Thing is, it's a very slow book and in high school it's a tough read for anyone. I really slogged through it and got most of it. I probably missed a lot too at the time.
I found it very dated and couldn't get past the 1940s slang. It was as bad as florid 19th century Tess of the D"urbevilles by Hardy.

I'm looking forward to the semi break for the hokiday next week. I'm off Wednesday and Thursday of next week, with the hope of a lighter week. We will see what happens.

Guess we'll have to wait for your wonderful pictures. An alternative would be using a browser, I tried Edge and Vivaldi but it's a bit tricky..
but enjoy yourself!!

Packing is 99.99% done. The transporter will arrive tomorrow. Sad to leave the house, but we gotta move onwards.
My wife has been meticulous with the packing and boxing. Some of the stuff have been in storage for years. She does freaks out a bit thinking about stowaway spiders & daddy-long legs hitching a ride from one house to other!!

Meanwhile, about half a dozen neighbourhood cats have taken to our garden as a rendezvous point....

That's a lot of in one spot (nice way to side step how I really wanted to say it...ill save my next trip to Laura's doghouse until Q2 2020)

Though I was never really scared of spiders. Any type of fear that remained left when I lived in Australia. Having large huntsman spiders walking across your wall while watching TV at night time is enough to give most people chills.

I never killed them, just caught and released. Bloody quick critters. I don't like to kill spiders in general or any insects because they all play an important role. However I understand that people don't like them and species that have 'invaded' places need to be controlled.
