WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

So now the HP I saw in October for $600 is now $500 for black Friday. It's a 256GB SSD +8GB RAM model. That is super tempting. Especially when I got to HP and the custom setup I want of this runs me $1100. That price different is worth it? I don't know.

If I wanted something more traditional, the deals look solid. Can I really get by with that combo to say $$$? Not sure. I keep mine for years, so that's the thing.

Fear not, earthling......Optimus Prime has arrived.
Took a squad of nine to unload all the stuff.. furniture, appliances, etc and about 110 (small to medium sized) boxes of "stuff"

Always loved the Miata. There are a handful of cars that have moved my gears and that is one of them. It ain't a daily car, but I'd use it every day and kill it on weekends.

Hopefully if this thread is still around, I'll take a picture when I buy one.

My dream fun vehicle was the Triump TR3. Had a 1962 model as a youngster and foolishly sold it. Other than two marriages, my biggest mistake.

That's a nice looking car.

There was something light and fun about the Miata I have always liked. I admired the Z3 Roadster from BMW too, but if I had to pick one the Miata is it. Although, if I was really of money I'd would have gotten a Mercedes SLS AMG electric drive.

I'll still start out with a Miata.

Former Triumph Spitfire and MGA owner here. I miss tuning sidedraft Stromberg carburetors and dealing with Lucas electronics as much as I miss the ex-wife and my heart attacks. I've sworn off British cars unless a Lotus Caterham 7 or Lotus Elan (the Miata's spiritual ancestor) comes along for cheap. Nothing handles like a Lotus.

Season is over for my team. Still cannot beat Tennessee. I like the kid Minshew and his jorts, but we need some more play makers on offense and better depth in defense.

I'd love to get a Triumph or Norton motorbike some day.

I'd also love to get a Mini Cooper car.

I'd prefer the original, but the new ones aren't horrid.

The older ones are British. The newer ones are currently made in the UK but it's likely they won't be depending on how things go in the UK.

BMW owns Mini. There aren't any British owned car makers any more.

Triumph and Norton are still British. Maybe the prices will drop... LOL!

Yeah, we just had a Meetup event here for British motorbikes, but I wasn't able to attend. Triumph and Norton were present.

The Mini Cooper cars look so cool. I love them. I also love the little Fiat cars, even though those are Italian. I can't help but love a car that looks like it's smiling.

I have to admit to not being a fan of either the Mini or the Fiat but to each their own. :)

So today I'm waiting to find out when this interview is going to happen. I'm hoping tomorrow as I want to know as soon as possible about the prospect of getting this position. It will give us some direction of where to look for a place to live...
