WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Groups of animals and specific leaders of those groups are evolutionary traits occurring in many species which have the alpha male or the matriarch who is in charge of the social group.

Dogs are a great example. Dogs want to please their pack leader. Therefore, humans only need to show leadership by rewarding dogs when dogs do something good (and should not use fear or aggression against dogs). Dogs want to please humans so much that dogs are easy to train to be our companions as well as to do specific jobs for us.

Dogs also tend to be very adaptable and forgiving of past mistreatment. In many ways they are easier to be around than other people.
That's why I love cats, they simply don't give a flying **** about what pleases you or not. I'm not sure they care about what pleases them!

This is why I'm not a fan of Mondays (even though this could hvw happened on any other day).

So I went to this Boricua restaurant near the job that does a decent pernil. Needed a pick me up as it was a Monday after all. I walk in and something was off as I looked into the serving container where the pork was and it looked different.

MIA: what's the difference between the pernil and the lechon asado?

Servidora: (explains the differences first). We got the lechon asado today, no pernil. If you want that, you'll have to come back tomorrow.

MIA (in his head): maybe if I was after YOUR PORK, sure. But this pernil isn't that "I walked half hour round trip and didn't get it so I'll get my *** out of my bed and travel two hours round trip on a day off for it" level.

So I left...with a pork chop meal that was done Caribbean style - beyond well done. Needless to say, when I got on the clock the afternoon when right down the toilet.

Mondays, I ain't never be a fan.

I'm surprised you would have to hunt for a top-shelf pernil establishment in Gotham. We have fewer boricuas here and finding a good place isn't hard. I love me some pork any way you make it. My mom makes a killer paleta which is a slightly higher cut on the hog than the pernil.

Now you've done it, I have a serious hankering for some homestyle chicharrón. The greasy brown bag type you get at the gas station.

There are some really good ones around. I was just speaking of this place. It's solid, just not to the level as to make me want to jump through those hoops she was asking. Which would still be a shorter line than the one for the servidoras' PORK.

Plus, like most places they've had to choose between raising their prices or stepping down their portion sizes to stay afloat (the chose the latter). It's how the game is in tio's booming economy - ain't everybody rolling in the spoils.

If the pregnant cat wants to slept under the Christmas, it will sleep under the Christmas tree....and she will have boxing practice with the ornaments!!
She gave birth to kittens several days back... under the chest, in the corner, corridor, upstairs.... she will do what she wants to do!!

Meanwhile I'm back home for Christmas...

What are you going to do with all the kittens? How many are there?

The mum is an easily spooked scaredy-cat.. keeps the kittens well hidden. We hear the tiny meows, sounds like two little ones..
Newborn kittens are so adorable, especially when they sound like they're squeaking rather than mewing.

So I'm quite exhausted. Got lots to do still but managing to have some fun at the same time.

Yesterday was a mixture of stress and physical fatigue.

Today will hopefully be better and we're planning on our second Xmas market.

On Sunday we went to the one near the Louvre museum. It's in the Tuileries Garden.

They have a big Ferris wheel so took some pictures. Windows are tinted in the cabins and the Sun was hiding about.

So here's three I took. Yes I edited them.

It's nice to have the day off. Unfortunately, this is a working day off. Looking forward to the next one, where it is more rest oriented.

So...

We have some finality to the phone drama.

The online shop refunded our money and today my wife picked up a Sony Xperia 5 from a local shop.

So all done now. Just need to set up the phone.

That's good news indeed. What color did she pick?
