That is a beautiful church. Do you have any idea when it was built?Went into the centre today to pick up some mail. Then went for a wander. Finally ended up going into this cathedral we've passed many times. It's in the 1st arrondissement in Les Halles which used to be Paris largest markets.

That's hilarious!

Like a lot of these old buildings they go through stages. Best thing is to give you the Wiki link. That is a beautiful church. Do you have any idea when it was built?
Overall I like the camera(s). I think there is still room for improvement in the software. How are you finding the Xperia 1's camera now that you've used it for a few months, Rue?
How is the phone driving her nuts?Overall I like the camera(s). I think there is still room for improvement in the software.
The wide angle needs better correction. Nothing wrong with a bit of fisheye but the option to fix for that should be there. It also distorts a lot at the edges.
The manual mode doesn't offer camera selection, which I find odd.
Nighttime shots are pretty good.
Would be cool if they had a 21:9 mode. Hoping that shows up eventually.
Video is decent I haven't used it much.
Still haven't played with CameraPro that much. Still think it's too lacking.
Sony should have a video editing software to go with CameraPro.
Other than that I think it's good but could still be better.
My wife is happy so far with the camera but the phone itself is driving her a bit nuts.
She's just not used to Android 9 and the button arrangement on the phone. How is the phone driving her nuts?
The physical button layout is laughable. At least she can swap back to the regular onscreen ones if she dislikes the pill. I thought moto and one plus did the best job (Xiaomi and Huawei afterwards) with gestures...She just not used to Android 9 and the button arrangement on the phone.
It will just take some time.
Ah I give her props. That would be annoying to me. I prefer Samsung's way, even though that was an adjustment too. She's just not used to Android 9 and the button arrangement on the phone.

Thanks for the link. I'd love to go to an organ concert at that church.Like a lot of these old buildings they go through stages. Best thing is to give you the Wiki link.

So I got a sous vide from the gf - which was what I wanted to reduce food waste.
She got some hand made earrings - one pair in one of her birth stones - sapphire - some contour pillows and a gift card to go back to Bite Lab - custom lipstick place I took her to on the suggestion of my first train wreck supervisor at the current job.
