Seed from vegetable captured through microscope at 600x magnification using polarized light. The small white objects with black crosses are particles of starch. The outlines of each cell of the seed form the wire fence-like background. Captured with the Nokia Lumia 1020 without editing. This is a highly compressed image. The original is more impressive.
This photo was outside my house (Buenos Aires, Argentina) in a sunny day but with family?s problems..
whatsoever i manage to edit this with Fantasia Painter in a way that i could remember what i did wrong that make me feel bad that day and make Art for foreing people around me (and to forget that bad moment)

So as usual my plan was to stay home and watch TV but WPCentral's weekly photo contest made me to go out on the festive eve of Dussehra. Dussehra is celebrated because on this the Lord Ram killed evil Ravan so , every year people create and burn him down. This particular small ravan was made by colony children of age 14.
Lumia 1520 Nokia Camera edited using Nokia
Taken with my Lumia 1320 using nokia camera, edited with fotor and lumia creative studio. This was taken on our roof and it was a bright sunny day. The uniquely combined use of both apps gave such an artistic look to the photo
Taken with Lumia 925 edited with Hipstamatic Oggl. The picture is an old house (maybe an old store too) around Malioboro street, Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
Taken using Lumia 925; tweaked using Creative Studio
Artwork by the corner of 50th street and 10th Avenue in Manhattan, I walk past this everyday to the subway station. This beautiful work is on the outside wall of a tapas restaurant/bar.
God Speed
by Edmund B. Leighton
Taken with my Lumia 920, using CamWow app to achieve Jackson Pollock effect.
Edited with Lumia Creative Studio for clean up and color adjustment.
I thought about the challenge for this week's contest. First, as per the rules, this has to be a picture of art. So I chose one of my favorite classical paintings "God Speed" by Edmund Leighton. It has a sense of real history, a knight going off to battle - his beloved wishing him well and clearly worried about his return, while still portraying that sense of fantasy of knights, dragons, and the like. But then I thought what better way to bring this classical piece into the modern technology age than to make it a Jackson Pollock styled piece using a modern technological piece of software and my beloved, the trusty Lumia 920! (see what I did thar? )
Taken with my Lumia 625. Edited with Fhotoroom. I just adjusted the contrast and shadows to have that foggy vintage look. I am a hardcore fan of B/W pics, so switched it into B/W.
One random day [more than four months back] I was having a casual walk and all in a sudden I saw this statue of Lord Shiva. It was just carved out of stone. There was a hut of masons nearby. This was their craftsmanship. There was other statues also. I clicked them too. As the contest allows to post only one pic, I picked this one.
Snapped using Nokia Camera on a Lumia 1020. Camera was tilted in circular motion with a shutter speed of 1.6 seconds. Focus was on the night lights on Sh. Zayed Road in Dubai, UAE to generate this beautiful artistic effect.
This a sculpture that's part of Yamasaki's Reflecting Pool at Wayne State in Detroit. Not sure of the name of this particular one, but I'm glad I caught this shot.
I thought of art>patterns>..CLOTHES!
Some clothes are truly pieces of art, and the best thing is, these masterpieces -which reflect culture, thought, and lifestyle- don't have to stay in a museum, they're yours to own or even design by yourself!
Therefore, this is my submission for this week. I hope you guys like it .

A low-angle shot of Fuzzy Grids II: A Participatory Artwork (By Predock_Frane Architects). This movable installation at the Getty Museum that allows visitors to join in making art.
Shot with the Nokia Lumia 1020 when I was taking a summer trip to Los Angeles, San Diego and Las Vegas back in July. Slight edits with Fhotoroom.
This is a stainless steel globe-shaped water feature designed by William Pye of England. Water was flowing smooth so it looked like a mirror.
I took this shot with ProShot upped the shutter speed to 1/4000 to catch the water flow. Though I just realized on the upper left corner it seems to not process(?) correctly. Hope it's just an issue with the app itself.
How many can say that they had their first kiss with person of their dreams. Better yet how many can say it happened in Egypt.
