Shot with my lumia 920 using the Microsoft camera app on close up. I used PicsArt to convert it with the black and white HDR filter.
It looks like some sort of weird alien creature, but its actually a mealworm morphing into a beetle. I feed the mealworms to my bearded dragon. One escaped, which got me into a lot of trouble with the wife, as she found it in my daughters toy box like this. Ooops. I kept it in a box, and after a few weeks it turned into a beetle. Amazing.

Lumia 810/ Camera: ProShot f/2.2 1/60 sec ISO 100, contrast + 5, sharpness 3, Shadow Recovery OFF.
Added a "filed out" 35mm negative carrier frame which was always the standard for my B&W film
photos, because you cropped in the camera using the viewfinder, not afterwards and what you
framed then was your final image, by filing out the negative carrier you got every mm of the image from the film.
This is my Dorothea Lange tribute, she's was an important muse.
My cousin Graylie ~twice removed
she's an Iowa farmer's granddaughter, lives in the country, she's very smart and curious,
she just turned 5. Photograph was made at a family reunion in Des Moines in July.

The Mysore Palace on an overcast monsoon day

I was clicking away with my DSLR but wanted a couple of pictures that I could upload to Facebook quickly. I whipped out my trusty 820 and snapped away, then went to Adobe PSE, simply applied the 'Silvered' filter and uploaded it to Facebook. It's only when I got home and took a look at this picture on my 1080p laptop did I realize what a beautiful picture I had captured.
