This car is a Trabant.
The Trabant is a car that was produced by former East German auto maker VEB Sachsenring Automobilwerke Zwickau in Zwickau, Saxony. It was the most common vehicle in East Germany, and was also exported to countries both inside and outside the Eastern Bloc. It was advertised as having room for four adults and luggage in a compact and durable shell; and being relatively fast

Went to the book fair Interliber in Zagreb, Croatia in 2014. There I saw this beautiful peice of engineering and I had to take a photo. Took it with 930 using the Nokia Camera (now known as Lumia Camera Classic), no editing.

This is none other than Speed Racer's Mach 5 on display at the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles. This photo was taken with a Lumia 1020 with no flash allowing the true colors to come through. The image has not been retouched other than reducing it's file size for this competition. This is a prototype was built for the 2008 motion picture "Speed Racer" and is fully functional. However, as the movie was fully digital no this car did not actually appear in the movie.
