Well done to the winner of the last contest, a very deserved winner too! This is my entry for this week! It was shot on my L920 with Nokia ProCam and edited in Creative studio just playing around with the colours to make it a tad more brighter! I took this shot whilst out rambling with my girlfriend Feburary of this year by the rivers edge in sunny Essex! I took inspiration from that famous XP desktop image

This photo was taken at Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico and the beach you see is named Playa Sucia (Dirty Beach), dont be fooled by its name, one of the main attraction of this beach is its white sand and clear waters!

My wife and I were on our way to our tent in Yosemite Valley after dinner the night before we started our Half Dome hike at the end of June. As we approached a bridge over the Merced River, we wondered why it was so crowded until we saw this view of Half Dome at sunset. I pulled out my Lumia 1020 and snapped this with the Nokia camera app. Later I used the auto-fix function in Photoshop Express to fix the levels because it was hard to see the trees on the river banks in the original.

I've been a hiker for a long time, but this was my wife's first "real" hike, and when I snapped this she still had doubts that she was going to be able to make it. Despite 103 degree temps, she rocked and made it without any issues and now this photo is a trophy for us. It's the lock screen image on my laptop, tablet and phone.

Sometimes I lock my phone just so I can see it again.

So, this image is probably one of the best panoramic images I got ever. The amount of detail it captures is just mesmerizing. This was taken at Maumee Bay State Park, Maumee, OH with my (almost) two year old Nokia Lumia 920 using Nokia Panorama app. An auto-editing is done using the Windows 8.1 Photos app on the PC. I still take awesome images with my L920.
