Weird arrows at top of my word document

[Windows Central Question]

I went on word and saw that there were some strange arrows at the top and bottom of the document. When I click on them it says 'edit header' but when I try to delete them, nothing happens. Does anyone know how to fix it? I'll be happy to provide pictures
