Once in a while, when I get up in the morning, I like to restart my phones. I believe it helps the phone perform better by turning off any rogue background apps and help with battery life. From day one I've noticed my 1020 doesn't startup or turn on very well. When I turn off the phone I get the usual "Goodbye" screen. Then when I go to turn on the phone I don't get the normal splash screen: ATT then Nokia logo. All I get is a blank screen with the back, home, and search buttons lit up. Most times, it will get to the lock screen and I can use it as normal. Sometimes, I have to do the soft reset key combo: down volume, power and camera. When I do that, the phone starts up properly with the expected splash screen logos, but only when I do key combo.
Is this something I should worry about. I mean, the phone does work fine once I get past startup. Or do you guys think I should try a hard reset now?
