Weird Touch screen issue

Hi all ,
my Lumia 1520 begins to behave weirdly by showing the bing search randomly, after a while, I noticed that when I tap on the top of the screen beside the frontal camera the capacitive button works !! .
I don't know if this problem needs a screen replacement to solve it or not, please advice.

Have you tried restarting your phone, or performing a soft reset?

Restart - press power button until you can "swipe to power down", then power up.
Soft reset - press and hold power button and volume down buttons until your phone reboots

If yes, then you might need to perform a hard reset... or potentially better is to take your phone to a service center to have it diagnosed.

Search this 1520 forum, there are many threads reg this problem but no solution :straight:

I had sent it for repair, will update whether its hardware or software problem once I get back my lumia

Nokia care replaced the digitizer and i collected it yesterday only

I have to observe it for a while and then update here

It's hardware - a digitizer replacement. I've had mine back for a week (sent to PALCO in US) and, so far, all the issues are gone.
