I finally decided to update my avatar, since the pic was from like 5 years ago. Starting to get a bit of gray that I didn't have 5 years ago, but other than that, I'm not getting old... yet. The new avatar has the whole family: my wife, my 2 girls, and me.

Picture was taken with my Lumia 635 and edited using GIMP. Not a great editing job, but makes for a decent background. Got a nice 8x10 on the wall of it. Good enough for that resolution anyway.

Second of all: You didn't need GIMP to edit the picture, the newest version of Fantasia Painter Free have excellent features called beauty and sharpening photo. 2 clicks and your picture would look great.

The editing was just to replace the background with the red gradient. No "beauty" or "sharpening" done. Just a background replacement. The wallpaper in the living room is hideous.
