What do you LIKE about the new Music app?

I like that it's Store updateable, so that we may hopefully have a good app soon, as well as quickly get new features in the future.

I guess it's nice that album art is bigger. When it reads.

I also like that there aren't any duplicate songs. There are no songs at all, though, because it doesn't read songs correctly.

I like that the Xbox Music logo is gone. Except now it's... static.

There's really not much to like. It's about as good as Microsoft Bob, Windows ME, and Clippy's writing suggestions.

Another nice one, is that the info from the Xbox Music store doesn't give me an error everytime I try to view it.

The best thing with this app is i can run other apps for music so I don't need to start this.

I like the automatic album art fetch... but it doesn't always get it right.. It should only search for album art when it's missing.

It changed my album art and tag from Maxal tha Best - Fancy (a freestyle by a male rapper) to this:

Well... I like that it's easier to search for music... It's more accessible... But nothing else... It's very slow and has annoying bugs like black screens and lags

To me, the fact that it works!
I didn't get duplicate music so far, things that was regularly happening with WP8.

Wait... so you are using an SD Card and your music is NOT duplicating?

... It has the option to make playlists... That is the only feature it has. This was a trick question.

P L A Y L I S T !!Needless to say the playlist functionality is the biggest thing for me. Many of the features others are complaining about are ones that I don't use. I almost exclusively use this for playing music over Bluetooth while in my car and the lack of decent playlist functionality was killing me. It otherwise functions the same for my use as the old app.

Really the only improvement I can think of is that it doesn't split itself into two different tasks like the old Music app. But until they fix the black screens and 100 song per playlist limit I have little reason to use this over my old MP3 player. =/

Maybe after they do that I'll have more incentive to experiment and find new features.

For me the fact I no longer get random duplicates has stopped me tearing out what little hair I have left. Seriously, I had occasions of 5 entries for the same song before.....

- easy update-ability
- play-list management
- when I hit the song details under album art it shows me other albums by same artist (play-list has it's own button)
- at least artist art is still shown on lockscreen while playing so all the work in MPAtool wasn't in vain rly:
- never had duplicates on my L920, but wifey will love this (her 820 goes berserk everytime I try to load some music on her SD card)
- search is nice

Sadly only certain artists in Microsoft's database do that. I wish it would just use the album art if it can't find a background on the server, personally.

fancy that, I'm asked this question alot.. Is it that weird to always look for the best in things/people? Who do You think is happier? Me or someone constantly unsatisfied and frustrated? Ain't got nobody sane time fo dat... I love WP for it's minimalism, simplicity, intuitive UI plus it's a good compromise of things I hated on both android and iOS (used at work).
