What happened to my phone?

I don't know if this is what you call "bricked," but this is what I woke up to. I slept and it was okay, I woke up it had no battery, so I plugged it and when it booted up, the Nokia logo and the Windows Phone screen looked like it had some static on it. And when my home screen loaded it had like 256 colors. Same with the lock screen. I tried doing a soft reset (volume down + power button for 10 seconds) but it's still the same. Do you guys have any suggestions before I try doing a hard reset?

Oh my god :O that's so bad, I haven't ever heard of that problem before. I would say try to reset the phone but backup before you do if you do

If smartphones are anything like computers, I would say bad video memory... its toast.

Of course you should try to do a soft reset then a hard reset...

Yea I'd send those photos to Elop and say you didn't get any help from the place you bought it from.

Why would you contact Elop straight away? Thats just abusing his email account.
Go to nokia 1st THEN if they are unhelpful go to elop.

So a few days ago my phone "healed" itself, but it's back. I'm thinking it happens when the phone gets too hot (I was playing Wordament and suddenly the screen screwed up again). So nobody else experiences this? Just me?

That's the phone's defect. It would be better if you go to the Nokia Care center to replace it with the new one.

Finally brought it to Nokia.. They don't have the parts so it will take 2-3 weeks... This really sucks... I can't even tell people that they can't contact me because I've been hyping what an awesome phone Lumia 920 is, and now it's broken in 5 weeks. Really disappointing
