We cannot replicate the issues you are seeing - can you give some more information on OS? Are you talking about any links at all on the entire site? This is an edge (no pun intended) case as the site works on all our test stations in IE11 and Edge and it's the first we've heard of it.

Maybe also show in a screengrab what is off and broken?

Many thanks
D

none of the links is working... nothing nada, its like the whole page doesn't work. Only thing I can do is scroll up and down... thats it LOL I cannot fathom this website working for you when 3 of my computers don't work... I can see maybe 1 computer with some sort of glitch, but not all 3 of my machines...

We know what this is related to now and why it's not consistently broken (which made it harder to replicate) and are working on a fix.

In short; one of the security measures on the site is acting up and the fix is quite extensive.

I think it has something to do with this floating menu link (I outlined it in red)

@David Lundblad, this has become a 'most' frustrating endeavor!

CAN'T navigate to different threads; keep getting this message:

CAN'T LOGIN!!!!!!!!!!: when on Edge (W10/CU) the hamburger in NON-responsive!!!!!! I couldn't go to a different thread so I exited out of WC; when I reentered the website I could not Log-in. Can yo put something up while you, and your team, fix the problems?

Does 'NOTHING' WORK ANYMORE????????????

you have to use chrome... which come to think of it, I think google is hacking this site so it only works for chrome LOL

IE11 on Win 10. There are no links that work on the forums page, none. Only secure content is displayed banner at the bottom of the page with 'show all content' button.
Edge works with links but having trouble posting

Would love to blame hacking but sadly it's an issue with one of the security solutions we have in place. It's taking long to fix as it is quite extensive and it took a while to understand what was actually going on.

thanks for your patience, this must be pretty frustrating for you all

Found a work-a-around for logging in when on Edge, from the Home Page:

Type: 'Login' into the Search Text Box...

The issue should now be resolved but we will keep a close eye on the faulty server - please report any more issues

Boy... I really 'HATE' being the rain at the parade, but... I just tested my login problem, and it is still there:(

So,

> from this page I clicked on the WindowsCentral logo (top of page). This action took me to the HOME Page (see below)

WC picture.jpg

> Once on the HOME Page, there is no way to get back to the forum section (no response from the vertical navigation menu (in pink, on left - see pic above)

Only way I can get back to the forum section from here is to:

> type 'login' into the search box, and hit 'magnifying glass' icon (NOTE: hitting 'enter', at this point does not yield the 'horizontal bar' with the icons at top of page...must hit the 'magnifying glass' icon )

> this action brings up the icons in the horizontal bar at top of page.

> I can then click on the 'thought bubble' icon.

> this action will show my 'Your Menu' Box...for there I can get back into the forums.

(Build 15063.483, on EDGE, from a SurfaceBook)

Update: @David Lundblad, I tried to:

1.) Shutdown Edge and restarted, to see if fix kicked in...no Luck!

2.) Exited out of WindowCentral and re-opened, to see if that would kick in the fix...again, no Luck!

Also, when re-opening WindowsCentral, it takes me directly to the HOME Page, which means I can not get to the forums unless I follow the method above.

Still broken using IE11 on W8.1 (Using the awful Chrome to post this). Are you still looking at this or do you think everything is hunky dory?

If what you don't like about Chrome is what I don't like about Chrome... I.E.: Google's hairy eyeballs all over your web browsing...

Take a look at SRware's Iron Browser. Chromium based so it just works on websites (except WC which has problems no matter how you view it) and it is privacy forward. Add in Ghostery and AB+ and Bob's your uncle.

Our devs are aware of the issues and are taking a hard look at IE11.

We have been looking only at Microsoft Edge for testing and apologize.

Thanks for your patience.
