What theme do you use, light or dark?

Used dark for 7-8 months. Got bored. Went to light theme. Used it for a week. Switched back to dark. Two reasons.

1. Too much strain on the eyes especially during night time.
2. Battery. I found that the battery life decreased by around 8-10% for me by using the light theme.

always dark, easier on the battery and eyes (especially when reading articles with the light off)

Light theme here. For me dark feels... Old????? Maybe light remember me more to pc???? Dont know ;-)

I use the light theme even though I have a Lumia 925 with an AMOLED screen. It looks so much better to me!

Before, I'm using dark+red for my glossy 1520. I became curious if light background really drains a considerable amount of juice but I observed that it doesn't. I also turned my other apps into light theme as well.

on phones with LCD displays (lower end Lumias, the 920, 1520), white or black doesn't affect power usage.
It does on phones with the AMOLED screen tech onboard like the 930, 820, 925...

But if that's the case, why does Nokia still include that notice on their LCD phones? I understand its disadvantage on AMOLED phones.

Perhaps just a generic heads up for users. Instead of having specific ones for those that use LCD and amoled, just one was used by them

I use Light with Green, reminds me of Xbox 360 colours!
When I first got my WP I had Dark with Cyan, but I couldn't go back now it makes it look smaller!

Dark. With dark you have the appearance of screen from edge to edge and top to bottom on my 925 or any (I suspect) AMOLED.
