What was the huge Lumia 735 update on Cricket?

I'm not too knowledgeable on tech, but what was the basic update for Cricket users of the Lumia 735 today ( March 31, 2015). It took a very long time to update. Just a simple explanation will do. And "seems faster" will only garner a wrinkled forehead from me.

I apologize for not putting any "Version xxx.xx.xx" of the update. I figure someone else would have got the same update and figured it out better than me. Thanks.

After update my phone says OS Version 8.10.14234.375. It just seemed like a huge update and it took a very long time, so i was just wondering if any other Cricket users saw the same thing.

That is Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1. Your phone will likely now say it is running Denim.
