What Windows 8 tells us about Windows Phone 8

Here are just a few things I expect to be on WP8 from W8:

Universal search
Universal share
Ability to kill apps (multitasking)
Apps to resume where left off if clicked on Start screen
Semantic zoom on Start screen

What do you guys think?

I dont think universal search will work since Apple has a patent on that and got the injunction on the Galaxy Nexus.

Well Blackberry 6 and 7 have universal search so I don't think that should be a problem.

I hope WP8 can import/export calendar appointments and Contacts. This shouldn't be a problem since microsoft invented outlook. In WP7.5 it is not possible to send a calendar appointment or contact as a vcf or csv file over MMS. This should be addressed in WP8 since it shares the same NT kernel. Hopefully it has been implemented.

But don't Microsoft and Apple cross-license patents instead of suing each other? I don't know if universal search is included though.

I thought I read somewhere Windows Phone 8 was going to have Universal Search.
