Recently received my Lumia 950 from the BOGO Deal, the XL is for neighbour, is the latest firmware for the Lumia 950 : 01078.00038.16025.39004 ?

depending on the country and variant of the phone, that sounds like it's current.

Since the bogo deal only in Us and Canada, so I assume your phone is North American , then your firmware is the latest so far, it is the same as my mine which is Canadian dual sim

I'm running 01078.00038.16082.36009 via wdrt which was only available this way. WDRT has gotten another update that I haven't tried yet.
