What's the difference between the Lumia 950 XL in different regions?

I've travelled abroad and am thinking of buying an international L950XL but would like to know if this model differs in any way in international regions or are they one and the same? And are there more color options other than black or white?

In before Lumia's different regions had different pre installed apps but no differences in core apps. I had for example a French 830 and it came with some "French" apps which did not show up in my Dutch 930. But these apps can be uninstalled or installed whatever you want.

As far as I have figured, it depends on a SIM card inserted. For example, recently I put a german SIM in my 950xl and it immediately began installing some apps that weren't previously installed (netflix, amazon, etc.).
