WhatsApp how to disable auto-save pictures-> to camera roll?

Hello,
I'd like to disable the WhatsApp function that automatically saves all photos received through WhatsApp in my camera roll: Disabling completely, or at least re-directing the auto-save to a seperate album, so the pictures don't show up in the camera roll.

I've tried to find an answer in the millions of WhatsApp threads in the forum, unfortunately without success, so I hope someone here can help me. Thanks!

yes, but then it wont download photos at all. I want them to see in whatsapp only, not in the camera roll.
