Did they basically push the beta version then? Or is this now permanent? My WhatsApp data is huge...

This is not same as the beta version. You cant change individual background for each contacts or groups which is something possible in the beta version for a long time

Damn...seriously hope this is just a bug that doesn't allow SD Card installs. I can't part with much more space on my 8S. My WhatsApp data is like 300mb and I have 364 free...

Ofcourse I disabled this function, but I still get this message and can't do anything.

It's just preference and friend majority really... None (and I seriously mean none) of my friends use Viber, Kine, Kakaotalk, or Wechat... And like only 10% are on Skype. So WhatsApp is where my people are at...
