Hi think this place to ask! I created a vid through what's app and sent it to someone but for some reason the video created not in my albums at all. Can't seem to find it but is still on the persons chat history. Is this because I didn't create it on phone first before sending?

It's a WP8 limitation

Today's WA article on WPCentral says that "Estimated time" is early June. The people on the pocketpc.ch forums also reckon early June. Any basis or source for this?

Asking coz it was universally *known* it would be released Mid May and well, din't happen. So just wondering is this is another rumour or someone knows something? (Like the app is being submitted for certification in a week)

Everbody assumed that it would get released for the Nokia event on May14th, there was never any source...

The article on the frontpage is based on what has been reported on pocketpc.ch as it seems (I read those forums daily and I knew about this for some time already), since there is a whatsapp beta tester posting there. But even he does not know anything about a release date or anybody else, it is pure speculation.

Hey guys when I start my WhatsApp it just shows the green screen nothing more.

When was the last beta update and what was the version number? Getting close to 3.0?

Don't expect the release to be v3.0 necessarily. Other platforms have been on 2.9.X forever with new releases being in the 0.0.X range.

So reading the 2.9.X numbers and gauging proximity to 3.0 will just mislead us. Any one of those builds could be "final". As far as I remember, on other platforms, the version has been on 2.9 for more than a year (though with regular updates and features)

My Whats app Videos from messages are not automatically downloaded into SD card.. I cannot see them on my card.. I own nokia Lumia 820..
But i have seen in Lumia 720 and 620 videos gets saved in saved videos on SD card.:unhappysweat: :unhappysweat:

The update is near i think, today the Android version of Whatsapp got updated so i think we get an update within 1 a 2 weeks
