whatsapp won't work in background !

hi, in the last days I noticed that I don t receive any whatsapp messages unless I open the application.
I checked the background task to see if from some unexpected reasons it is blocked but everything looks just fine.
I even tried to uninstall the app and reinstall it but no success.

and ideas why ?
I was very pleased by the last updates of the app and how good it worked and now I get this problem... what should I do ?

I have the same issue for the past few months. Tried a lot of options without success.
Can you check if you can connect to chat?

Get on Skype from 2nd April onwards

battery saver is turned off and I checked the chat and it doesn t work, it says "Can t connect to chat"
