when I add a hyperlink in word to an affiliate advertiser, it does not work

I've recently switched to Chrome for browser. Before that, I could create responsive hyperlinks in word. Now I cannot. Can't in Publisher either.

Hi Welcome to Windows Central. If it worked before with a different browser, it seems to me that Chrome is causing your problem. Try a different browser. I prefer Firefox! Are you talking about Microsoft Word or Microsoft Word Online? The standalone apps do not care what browser you have installed.
