When Will We See An Amazon Prime App?

I want one, so I can listen to music and watch videos! Is this happening?

The regular Amazon app is bare bones anyway, so that could use some improvement as well. Just sayin'.

We recently ran a story on the front page where a rep for Amazon pretty much directly confirmed they have this kind of app in the works.

Amazon reps were also quoted showing they would support Blackberry Tablet OS.

Point is, they have a history of being wrong. Sadly...

I really hope that rep isn't wrong, because I'm aching for this app, too :wink:.

Also, we don't tend to report on stories that haven't been verified in some way. I guess we can only hope at this point.

It was announced the next day. App is for desktop. WP AND WIN 8.1RT not compatible.

Low level reps have no idea what they are talking about, sadly.

You need to get ahold of the development team at Amazon if you want real info.

I wish it weren't that way, but I've had my hopes destroyed by Amazon CS Reps multiple times, for various things. They are also terrible with Amazon Prime Video info, as far as content specifications and platform support (tv's, streaming boxes, etc...)

I used to be able to watch Amazon Prime video in the Edge browser until the 10536 update on my 1520. Now, it just spins and then tells me "something is wrong".
